Annaharvey Horses

We have a great selection of Irish Bred horses and ponies to suit every level of riding ability - from quiet ponies suitable for beginner riders right up to horses capable of jumping 1m20.

Many of the horses have been bred and trained on the farm so we know them very well. Their bloodlines include well known Irish Draught and Connemara sires as well as some top jumping warmblood sires such as Cavalier Royale and Touchdown. We take care to look after our horses well so they are fit and happy in their work. They get plenty of variety in their work with lots of hacking during the summer months.

Most of the school horses live together as a herd, so they know each other and are usually great friends. During the summer they spent their nights and days off enjoying the great Annaharvey grass in large paddocks, while in the winter they have a large shed with an open yard and ad lib haylage to live in as natural an environment as possible with lots of socialisation.
